Dot - playing at 97/232 days - May 2008

My wife, Therese, and I met Dorothy De Low in Dublin, Ireland in 1992 when playing in the World Veteran Championship. Therese and Dorothy became very good friends during that tournament. Since then Therese keeps in touch with Dorothy, while, I keep in touch with her son Peter. After the tournament we had dinner in our house with another friend of Dorothy. By the way, Dorothy won the Gold over 80's in that tournament.

During the summer 2008 we received a mail from Dorothy where she said if we ring her at home in Australia, and, if we don't get a response not to worry about it, she may be working in the back garden. Nothing surprises us of this amazing lady.

An extract from email received from Peter De Low, son of Dorothy (Dot) De Low is appended below :
Hi Folks -
This link should take you to my mother(97) playing table tennis on television this morning. She leaves for Rio tomorrow to play in the World Veterans’ Table tennis Championship.
