Irish Wheelchair International is an annual event being held in Wheelchair Headquarters in Clontarf, Dublin, Ireland. Steve Welch is an International Referee of the International Table Tennis Federation. He has been appointed to officiate over the Wheelchair International from 20th to 22nd April, 2007. He is a member of the English Table Tennis Association.

The Irish Championships are now world renowned. 95 players from more than 20 counties are taking part in this prestigious event as an essential part of their qualification for the Beijing 2008 Paralympics. The successful Irish Team duo of Kathleen Reynolds and Rena McCarron will be defending their Team Title again this year.
